Modern Slavery Statement
Flipfix Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking in all forms. We take a zero-tolerance approach to these practices within our operations and throughout our supply chain.
Our Commitment
We are committed to running our business that treats people fairly and protects their wellbeing. This means:
- We do not tolerate any form of forced, bonded, involuntary or child labour.
- We believe employment should always be freely chosen, without pressure or threats.
- We expect anyone we work with to treat people with dignity, pay fairly and provide safe working conditions.
- We do not work with organisations that exploit people, ignore human rights concerns or refuse to address risks when raised.
Due Diligence
When we begin working with a new business partner, we carry out due diligence to help ensure that the people involved in their operations are treated ethically. This includes:
- Taking the time to understand who we are working with and whether their sector, country or labour practices could put people at risk.
- Asking partners, where appropriate, to confirm that they follow modern slavery laws and uphold the basic rights of their workers.
- Reviewing any declarations, policies or documentation that show their approach to safe and fair working conditions.
- Looking more closely at relationships where risks may be higher and seeking reassurance where needed.
- Ending relationships where our standards are not met, or where concerns are raised and not addressed.
If concerns arise, we may ask for additional evidence, require improvements or carry out further checks before continuing the relationship.
Training
We want our team to feel confident recognising when something isn’t right — and to know what to do about it.
Our training and awareness approach helps employees understand:
- What modern slavery looks like in practice,
- How it affects people,
- What warning signs to look out for, and
- How to raise concerns safely.
We continue to learn and adapt so that our approach stays effective and compassionate.
Reporting Concerns
If anyone connected to our business — whether staff, partners or members of the public — has a concern about modern slavery, we encourage them to raise it immediately.
Reports can be made directly to a Director and all concerns are treated confidentially, without judgement, and we will always take the time to look into them properly.
No one will ever face negative consequences for raising a concern in good faith.
Approval
We review this statement every year, or sooner if needed, to make sure it remains effective and reflects current best practice. Human rights risks change over time, and our responsibility is to stay alert and adapt as the world does.
This statement has been approved by Senior Management and represents our ongoing commitment to preventing modern slavery in our business relationships.
